Rene Ng is a Board-certified California-licensed Acupuncturist as well as a Florida-licensed doctor of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Physician. In addition, he is nationally Board-certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Born in Macao, China, he has been involved with Chinese Medicine for over 30years. While in China, Rene was trained in classical Dit Da and Tui Na therapeutic bodywork which was used extensively in the treatment of injuries and trauma. Rene is the primary acupuncturist at the San Diego clinic facilities, and specializes in Cancer/MS care, Trauma, Allergies, Infertility, Stress management, Infomnia, and general internal medicine. He also offers a special Anti-aging and Facial Rejuvenation program that focuses on staying and feeling young via stress management, holistic health maintenance, good nutrition, exercise, and a balanced lifestyle.

Education and Training
Rene graduated Summa Cum Laude from the 5-year Traditional Oriental Medicine graduate program at East West College of Natural Medicine, and attended the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA. He also had the privileged opportunity to apprentice under reknowned Chinese doctors Zhao Ruan Jin, Wei Mei Fang, He Hong Jian, and Ng Man Keong in the treatment of Arthritis, Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Trauma, Insomnia, Internal Medicine, and other chronic disorders using Chinese Medicine. In addition, he is certified in Chinese Herbology by the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China, and in the highly acclaimed Tung Acupuncture system by the World Association of Tung Acupuncture (WATA). He is also trained in the NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Treatment) system for treating allergies, as well as the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture techniques.

Prior to becoming an acupuncturist and doctor of Oriental Medicine, Rene led a successful career in the computer software industry, and held senior management positions for major corporations such as Dun & Bradstreet, E*Trade, and Oracle, to name a few. He obtained his undergraduate BS degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Systems Analysis from the State University of New York at Binghamton and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He also attended the MS program in Artificial Intelligence at George Washington University and the MBA program in Finance at Marymount University. His passion for the healing arts, natural wellness, and for helping people was instrumental in paving the way for the career switch from the software industry to Chinese Medicine. He can frequently be seen offering workshops on natural health awareness and wellness maintenance around San Diego in California, as well as in Sarasota and Bradenton in Florida.

Music
In addition to practicing Chinese medicine, Rene is also a very accomplished musician. He is a former national singing champion, and plays the guitar and the piano. He has been performing professionally in Macao, Hong Kong and across the United States since the late 70s. Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong
Rene is a highly sought after Kung Fu / Tai Chi / Qi Gong instructor with over 34 years experience practicing and teaching the arts in both the United States and China. He learned the powerful Wing Chun kung fu system from Southern China under the famous Master Ho Kam Ming, and is the founder of the San Diego Wing Chun Academy and the Sarasota Wing Chun Academy. He is also the senior kung fu instructor at the famous Jing Institute of Martial Arts in San Diego, CA, and holds seminars across the United States. His Tai Chi teachers include Master Lui Siu Fong and Master Cheng Zheng Li.
