Does Chiropractic treatment hurt?
Treatment is safe, comfortable to most and doesn’t hurt. Sometimes, there is muscle soreness following an adjustment, similar to the feeling you get after a workout. This feeling comes from aligning the joint after being stuck for some time. This is a good thing and the soreness should resolve in a few days.
Is the “Popping Noise” Necessary?
Adjustments can cause a “popping noise”, which is a release of gas trapped in the joint when the alignment takes place. For some, that noise can be disturbing; therefore, we offer gentle, specific adjustments using handheld technology to provide excellent results without the popping noise.
How many visits are required?
The number of visits depends on each individual case. There are several factors to consider when developing your treatment plan: your age, current health status, lifestyle both at work and home, activity level and type of injury. How many visits will be determined by these factors and how you respond to your first treatment.
Some people come for pain relief and specific injuries, some come more frequently for maintenance, and some people come very regularly for wellness. It’s about what is best for you and your needs.
